Why use DVDs from the CLN®?
Wise educators count the ways
Correctional
institutions sometimes need a hand in their
educational mission. The challenge is to find
quality products at affordable prices. For
nearly a decade, hundreds of facilities have
turned to the Corrections Learning Network. The
CLN®, operated since 1999 by Educational Service
District 101, offers a host of cost-effective
solutions for offender education, all on DVD.
The many advantages of DVD include …
-
Security:
Learning is conducted solely within your
walls, within your control. DVDs do not
connect to the Internet or the outside
world.
-
Economy:
You only pay for the courses you want and
you only pay once; the CLN has no membership
fee; no minimums; no annual subscription.
-
Longevity: You own the resource. Use it over
and over.
-
Convenience: You can schedule viewing
whenever you want, 24/7.
-
Ease of
use: An inexpensive DVD player (often less
than $50) or a computer is all you need.
There is no expensive equipment to buy; no
complicated equipment to operate.
-
Dependability: Weather does not disrupt
technical quality.
-
Value:
The CLN® offers a “buy one; get one free”
program on DVD sales.
-
Names you
can trust: ESD 101 and the CLN® … your
partners in correctional education since
1999.
